While I must admit I am little surprised at the results of the poll, I am also pleased by them. The results showed that respondents were split in two camps -
1. no case at all, the decision perhaps guided by spendthrift habits or by the worship of art
2. a soft case as opposed to a hard case

Unlike Patrick Henry, I do not use any case because I do not need one. Unless you need quick access to your phone, which can be kept in a case on your hip, or you must keep sharp objects near your phone, perhaps in a purse or bag, cell phones these days can withstand the abuse from an average day's use.
